Maternity photography is my busiest photoshoot type, running several sessions every week, often back-to-back each day. I have carefully crafted my style over the last 6 years to give my one of a kind studio beautiful diversity over other photographers who can only use standard paper backdrops alone. With two beautiful areas to work in, offering bright and airy shots along with cosy dark and artistic style, my work has become recognised as some of the most desirable and uniquely presented in the south, with clients travelling from areas all over England to come and see me. My clients are welcome to bring their partner along to the session or come along by themselves, you do not have to come as a couple for a pregnancy photoshoot! Your session begins with a consultation about what to expect, a gauge of your capacity of movement and how you are feeling that day, a chat about how much of your body/skin you are happy to show and you will be shown where the toilets and refreshments are. You will not be left to wonder where things are going or what to expect next. I will guide you through the photoshoot from start to finish. You will not be left unsure of how to stand or where to look, I work on a 'I pose, you copy' basis, meaning I will pose first and you will copy how I am stood. During the session you have access to my client gowns, which include full length dresses, split front dresses and two pieces. Styling advice is given on what to wear if you are also having photos as a couple. Generally speaking sessions are booked from 28-34 weeks gestation, it's important to book your photoshoot early due to availability. I recommend booking a minimum of 4/5 weeks in advance. However, I have had clients who have literally contacted me on their due date for an emergency appointment! So please get in touch even if you have decided late on a session to check for any gaps which I occasionally have in my diary.
